For this cedar chest I wanted a rustic layered look. I decided to go with layers of dry brushing because I thought it would highlight the details best.

You can use this technique with any color combinations you prefer.

I love how much paint can transform a piece of furniture and this technique adds so much depth and texture. It's a favorite of mine.
